When most people talk about bookshelf speakers, they're referring to speakers that fit on bookshelves. Polish designers Witek Stefaniak and Anielka Zdanowicz took it more literally. Their Soundshelf concept is speakers that can also be used to store books, CDs and videos. Clever way to keep your media handy.

The Soundshelf is just a concept at this point, and judging by the photos, it probably won't sound great. However, if someone got creative and adapted some of the current soundbar designs, a decent-sounding version could be created.
