Yet another fan created hardware modification is pointing the way towards a greener gaming future. The mod takes a Nintendo DS Lite and affixes a set of 60x60millimeter solar panels to the cover of the gaming device.
The entire solar rig offers an output of up to 6 volts, making this the perfect portable gaming device for that rare geek that actually enjoys basking in the sunlight. Details on how to put together your own solar powered Nintendo DS Lite can be found here.

Wow, that's just totally awesome. So now when I get kicked out of my relationship for paying too much attention to my DS then I won't have to worry about charging it when I'm living in the park. I can just aim it towards the sun while I'm playing and hope that I can still see the screen in the daylight.
Seriously though, I need one for the PSP. I spend far too much time on it then get frustrated when the battery dies and puts me into sleep mode lol.
