

We love Tesla coils for all their spectacular lightning-throwing abilities, but one their underappreciated abilities is making music. The bolts that the coils fire happen to create "crisply distorted" square waves that sound a bit like synthesizers. Some clever folks noticed this and founded ArcAttack! which uses a unique DJ system combined with the coils to put on the kind of music show we can't help but love — the kind with lightning bolts flying back and forth.

Heh...the guy on stilts is Parsec, part of ArcAttack. Below is a link of him trying out a new Faraday suit for use during their performances (set to the Imperial March).
