Play Wii with an original Super Nintendo controller

super_famicom_controller.jpgThe Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console is a great way to get your retro gaming fix, offering up hundreds of old NES and SNES games, amongst other consoles, for your gaming pleasure. Unfortunately, if you grew up playing the SNES with the original controller, the Wii controller is just a poor substitute.

Now, you can import an original SNES controller that is designed to work with the Wii straight from Japan. Made by Nintendo originally for a fan loyalty club in limited numbers, they're now available online for a whopping $75. The price is unfortunate, as I imagine they'd sell tons of these things if they priced them at $20, but I guess you have to take what you can get.
