Lego is getting into the gadget business, it seems, with a new camcorder branded by the legendary toy maker showing up at a toy fair in Nuremberg. The camcorder has some definite Lego elements to it, including a 4x4 tile on the flip out screen, but I can't say that it looks like it was constructed from Lego bricks. That's disappointing.
Even if it just had the look of something that a kid constructed in his bedroom but actually wasn't made of bricks, I would be happy. But the best case scenario? Make it out of real bricks and allow you to reconfigure or add to it as you will with more bricks. Spaceship camcorders, anyone?

I think this is really cool. It goes along the same lines as this post from yesterday:

But, even if it isn't made out of Leogs, it would be neat if you could, let's say, make a tripod out of legos, and then mount the camcorder to the lego tripod....Come on people, get on this!!
