    Google uses cute initiative to launch Chrome browser in Japan

    googchrm78232.jpgWhile the battle for search engine supremacy in Japan between Yahoo and Google is still in full swing, Google has quietly begun insinuating its browser into the Asian landscape. This cleverly crafted stop-motion video advertisement for the new Chrome browser was put together by the Google Japan team.

    It reveals the company's strategic vision of using the Japanese cute (or kawaii) factor to successfully enter their browser into a market currently dominated by Yahoo. Evocative of a children's television learning spot, the simple yet effective clip is online now in glorious HD here.
