Glass pool table will look great on your glass yacht

glasspooltable.jpgOn the one hand, a glass pool table sure looks cool. On the other hand, can you imagine how horrible it would be to actually play pool on a glass surface rather than on a traditional felt surface? There's a reason a normal pool table is covered in felt: it provides a very specific resistance to the balls. This table has a "patented transparent Vitrik playing surface" that's supposed to be sort of like felt, but I'm not buying it.

Couple that with the price, which is a downright-insane $25,150, and you have something that I can't imagine too many people picking up for their basement game rooms.

It looks like something from the rec room of the Galactica. While it looks cool, the price is ridiculous, and all those hours spent practicing on this table will throw off your game on a standard table because of the different physics. I'll stick to my local bar table and virtual pool in Playstation Home....

If it weren't for the metal parts, this would be a great addition to Magneto's Plexiglas prison cell... Oh, wait. He pretty much trashed it in X2. Oh well.
