Faucet of the Future by architect Zaha Hadid

hadid_tap_front.jpgPritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid knows how to design some magnificently crazy-looking buildings, and now she shows off her design chops on this kooky faucet, created for Brit plumbing company Triflow. Nobody's talking about the price of this sculptural beauty just yet, but you can be sure it's not going to be on sale at Wal-Mart anytime soon.

Notice the two openings — one's for filtered water, controlled by a touch-sensitive button, and the other is for unfiltered hot and cold water. Some of us think this fantastic faucet looks like a metallic swan from another planet, others are reminded of tubular bells — but all of us want to add this tap to our collection of cutting-edge bathroom design.
