You might think that a computer housed in corrugated cardboard is something for hobos to do their taxes on, but that's not the case. Cardboard is actually better at dissipating heat than plastic, and it acts as a sustainable and efficient casing for your desktop computer.
The Recompute cardboard computer lets you put what you want inside, but it has 8 USB ports and room for all of the guts that you'd find in your traditional computer. It works in both horizontal and vertical configurations, depending on how you like to have your setup. The only real trick is getting over feeling like a hobo while you're using it. Give it time.

cardboard has such a down to earth appeal, and looks really nice. I want one.

Mmm, let's just hope you don't spill your drink when you have one of these on your desk.

Not sure this would be so cool in high humidy environs - especially like here in sunny FL - the roaches just love moist cardboard.

Do the homeless actually do their taxes?

You mean train hobos with the 5 o'clock shadow and stick and red bandanna with a sandwich in it? Do they exist anymore? I can picture a guy wearing a sports coat with patches and has his stick with red bandanna off to the side and he's sitting in a cardboard box with his cardboard computer doing his taxes. Hehe thanks for that image.
