Samsung's pico projector has its own screen

tabletop top front.jpg
You won't have to look for a big blank wall in a dark room to project a movie onto using Samsung's MBP200 pico projector - it has its own 2.2-inch LCD screen and a little speaker.

But this pico projector is designed more as a cell accessory. Instead of a standard miniUSB and/or a 3.5mm A/V jack, it uses Samsung's proprietary jack for connecting to its cellphones. But there's 200 MB of on-board memory to store your content and a microSD slot that can add another 16 GB of storage. It's also got a touch navigation panel.

Oh, yeah - it can project a 50-inch picture onto the aforementioned blank wall from up to eight feet away.

It'll be out later this year (Samsung was rather vague about the timing) for a price higher than you'd probably want to pay.
