Quiksnap ice tray pops out one cube at a time
Here's a great idea: a way to dispense one ice cube at a time. Quicksnap, invented by Graeme Davies, is a finalist in the Royal College of the Arts design contest, and will be available later this year.
Just push the green button and out pops a single cube. Might we suggest a non-stick coating to make the process even easier? Or maybe we could all stop watering down our drinks and quaff beverages Euro-style, sans ice altogether.

Leave it to a brit to want only one cube at a time. In the US we like our cups full of ice. WTF is it with Europe and little or no ice in your cup?

You can take one cube at a time after you dump the entire tray into the ice bin too. The point of new designs is to simplify or improve, not complicate.

Why is it that even something as simple and innocuous as an ice tray brings out the low class individuals who have to insult everyone around them? I for one am an American who happens to think that filling up my drink with ice so all I get is mildly flavored water is a really stupid idea. I want to actually taste my drink. So stop with the puerile insults. There is no such thing as "we in the US" because we don't all think alike. And geesh, stop throwing around the word socialist unless you actually have some clue what it means, which anonymous here obviously doesn't.
Oh, and DVICE? Fix your bloody comment form. It is really obnoxious to have to redo the form repeatedly because it failed to accept correctly entered text.
