Olympus just introduced a couple of nice new point-and-shoot cameras to their Tough line. Sealed from the elements, the cameras are rated to either 10 or 33 feet underwater. The cameras are also designed to operate in temps down to 14ºF. Built-in image stabilization should help keep things sharp, even when your teeth are chattering away too. Their 3.6x wide-angle zoom lens covers the equivalent of 28mm-102mm.
The two models, 10-megapixel Stylus Tough-6000 and 12MP Stylus Tough-8000 will be available in February for $299 and $399 respectively. While these are being marketed to the adventurous, outdoorsy types, they'd be perfect for clumsy, careless folks too.
