On first glance, the Moof bicycle looks like a high school metal-shop DIY project, but on closer inspection this bike boils down the single-speed revolution into a bold fashion statement. Encased in each end of its top tube is a solar-powered LED flasher, making nighttime rides a little safer. The old-school leather saddle is a nice addition to the overall spartan look of the two-wheeled work of art. This bike will be $500 soon at Areaware.

It looks a neat bike, but it's a single speed, hardly appropriate for hilly areas surely. And I wonder how efective the solar powered lights are really, surely a hub would have been more self-reliant.
Nice bike though, I'ld probably be more interested in a 3 speed international version for my part of Britain.
