Japanese face slimmer will definitely not work as advertised

face_slimmer.jpgGot a fat face? Well, you could go on a diet to try to slim that sucker up, or, if you're lazy, crazy and Japanese, you could get the Japanese Face Slimmer. Essentially, it's a mask you wear that smushes your face with the goal of slimming it up. Yikes!

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that this thing dos nothing of the sort. Your face does not work that way; you can not just press it into whatever shape you want and have it stay that way. Instead, your face will get red, sweaty and sore. But if that's your goal, hey, this is the product for you.

Actually, as you know, the human body constantly loses and replenishes its cells. When injured, this process is called "healing" though really it goes on all the time; moreso at night.

A device such as this, worn overnight for an extended period of time, would have a definite effect on the body.

For other examples of this do Google searches for any of the following:
"neck rings"
"lip plate"
"gauged earrings"
or just general "body modification" (not all of which will apply, but you get the idea)

well, the actual point of something like the japanese face slimmer is to make you sweat and get rid of the fat's in your face. that is the entire purpose, make a sore, red, sweaty face. but it does sorta make ya look like a ninja-wanna-be-and-never-will.
