This might take away the fun of killing animals, carrying it over to the fun of shooting live gadgets (as in, escaping from you like a living thing), and as a vegan, and just a guy with a lot of respect for life, I find that hopeful.

Man, this looks like fun. It'll be great for kids to practice with, and for when hunting season isn't in. Duck Hunt is still my favorite NES game.
(And no, this won't take away the fun of killing animals. It also won't take away the fun of eating them. It does look like a great toy, though.)

Next up, they will probably have something that looks a lot like a star trek phaser (just different enough not to get sued) and what ever the floating thing was they used in the holodeck firing practice scenes.
