Asgard flagship from Stargate lovingly recreated with thousands of LEGOs
Major props to LEGOsmith Michael Z., who spent a considerable chunk of his time crafting a replica of the Asgard flagship, Beliskner, as seen in Stargate SG-1. With all the LEGOs he used to build it, it's really got a shiny, rippling hull that's an awesome effect. He's even selling it for $3,500, though it's so big that you'd have to pick it up in Illinois.
From the builder (whose use of caps lock hammers home just how epic this ship is):
AFTER THREE MONTHS OF HARD WORK AND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PIECES MY BELISKNER IS FINALLY FINISHED... AFTER WATCHING THE SERIES I KNEW THAT I HAD TO BUILD THE SHIP OUT OF LEGOS, THE THE RESULT WAS A INCREDIBLY LARGE AND DETAILED SHIP THAT MEASURED FIVE FEET LONG, SIX FEET WIDE, AND TWO FEET HIGH.

Makes me think that maybe 'they' should make a lego stargate sg-1 game (ya know, same vein as lego batman, star wars, etc)

OH MY LORD!!! thats amazing. next build Atlantis. it does look like them damned replicators got a hold of Asgard tech. they need to start selling SG1 and SG Atlantis lego sets lol. i would by them. little lego guys of Jack O'Neil, Sam Carter, Rodney McKay, John Shepard, Teal'c, and the rest of the SG1 and Atlantis crew.

I wonder if he thought to keep a "blueprint" of which blocks he used, how many of each, And where they went..... Just selling that for A Few $$$ each at a lego convention would probably earn him a fair bit of $$$ (And I know He didn't make it for the cash, but its still an idea.....)

Stargate Dragon: you're right -- he'd make a significant load of $$ if he kept blueprints and sold copies, rather than trying to sell the ship itself. People are more likely to part with a few bucks for blueprints than megabucks for the completed ship.
Next: Atlantis, the Daedalus, how about some wraith hives and darts, g'aould ships, make some fleets... I bet Battlestar Galactica ships would be cool, too. Has anyone tried to make a lego Stargate? Hmmm... where's my grandkid's legos... I have an idea...

Man that awesome. Lego should come out with Stargate Lego sets. I mean they did Star Wars. Who wouldn't want to have an Asgard head made from Legos or perhaps a Serpent Guard. They did a Yoda and Darth Maul one. So why not Stargate.
