    Slegoon adds some speed, danger to the traditional sled

    slegoon.jpgSledding is really fun, but any way to make it faster and probably more dangerous is something I can get behind. After all, if a regular sled is good, a souped-up sled designed to go twice as fast must be great, right?

    The Slegoon is just such a souped-up sled. It puts you in a cage, which should improve safety over your standard plastic disc or inner tube, and it also acts as extra runners if you happen to flip over. The Slegoon is the winning entry in the UK IOM3 Design Innovation in Plastics competition, and I want one.
