I have a problem with the volume measurement. Since the marks don't go all the way around, how will you know if you're holding it level? Changing the angle you hold it will greatly vary the volume!

well, i'm sure all the best engineers have think of that.

I dont think the angle matters. If you put a cup of water in a drinking glass, or if you put a cup of water in a cooking bowl, it is still the same volume of one cup of water. Now if your talking about dry goods. If the recipie wants a certian amout of a product, it takes into effect in directions for whatever it is your making for the certian product, it still does not matter the angle you hold the spoon at. They didn't even need to put lines on the thing if its messuring out everthing.

If you think for a second, you would see this would be an excellent tool for measuring out liquid medicine doses for kids, or accurate measurement of ingredients for people with special dietary needs.
