Carrying a boom box around on your shoulder hasn't been a cool thing to do for about 20 years, but I think it's about time for that practice to become cool again. I mean, I still wouldn't want to lug a huge boom box full of D batteries around on my shoulder, but the idea of a boom box has a certain retro cool cachet.

Enter the Boombox Watch. It's the perfect way to pay homage to boom boxes without having to annoy everybody else on the subway. It tells the time with a handy LED display, but unfortunately it doesn't actually function as a boom box. Not only does it not accept cassette tapes, but the speakers don't work at all. But if you're just going for the look, you can't go wrong.
