Blast Knuckles upgrade brass knuckles with a jolt

blastknuckles.JPGSure, getting punched with brass knuckles will seriously mess you up, sometimes you need to deliver even more punishment than the trusty brass knuckles can deliver. That's why Blast Knuckles exist. They're essentially a pair of brass knuckles that also deliver a blast of 950,000 volts on contact. Yikes.

I'm no scientist, but I'm pretty sure that counts as a lethal weapon. Unless you're wearing a leather mask or something, but even then I don't think you could avoid getting pretty messed up. And now that you know this is out there and that your enemies may have it, you now need to get it as well so you're evenly matched. Luckily for you, it's only $50, making it a pretty affordable way to kill someone.

It could even be over 2 million volts, but in the end the only thing that matters is amperage, which is going to be next to nil. If you had more amperage then it could be considered a lethal weapon, but until then no.

I saw those at least a year ago on trueswords.com. They have one even more powerful than that called the double trouble. That one scares me.

I used to sell these on the Internet, totally useless.

I bought one of those in Las Vegas at the indoor flea market. I can't say if it's effective but it makes a noise like 3 machine guns going off. That's gotta be worth something!

So Cool!!!!!

An efficient idiot seperator: the idiots are the ones who buy the fool thing. Not more effective than a normal Taser and a darn sight more likely to get you run in on a CCW charge... or an ADW charge, if you actually used it. A knife can be excused-lots of people carry pocketknives; pepper spray or a regular Taser might just be passed by; but the cops and the courts feel that there is NO legitimate reason to be carrying a set of brass knuckles.

I knew seeing something similar in the premiere episode of Batman Beyond years ago was bound to make this happen.

I don't see the need to buy these to protect myself against others with these. I find that a concealed carry or in your home a 12 guage work just fine for discouraging society's parasites.

I see several problems with this. For one, how the heck are you going to avoid shocking yourself? I can't imagine many regions of a person's body where if i was seriously punching them with this thing my fist wouldn't still be in contact with their body. That's kinda the whole idea of punching someone... you turn the energy of your abdomen, chest, shoulders, arm, into an indentation in someone's flesh, which causes a shockwave to travel through their body. So unless you're a little 100 pound kid or you punch with your forearms then you're going to be in contact with the skin when this thing goes off every time (unless you punch some poor sucker in the forehead with it, or maybe on the chest or some other near skin bones). You're going to shock yourself. on top of that it's probably cheap plastic - if punch ANYTHING with ANY resistance with a hollow bit of plastic around your hand, you are going to have plastic stuck in your fingers and your opponent's face, as well as the suddenly haywire remnants of the circuitry.

This is just a bad idea all around. If you want something neat that's a bit more than a taser, go for a stun baton. Stick fighting is already an excellent martial art, and if you can find a baton with no delay it would really fall in perfectly as a force multiplier. It's not that hard to learn basic defense with sticks either (hitting people with sticks is to humans like swimming is to a labrador retriever).
