Anime and video game themed bento lunches are delicious works of art

Wall-E-Bento-Box-Lunch-AnnaTheRed.jpg
Flickr user Kickinthehead says that these artful Japanese-style bento boxes are "cute lunches made for me by my girlfriend!" Cute they are, but if I opened up my lunch to find such an arrangement inside, I'd be torn between preserving it forever or succumbing to how delicious it all looks. The bentos are the work of Japanese-born AnnaTheRed, who uses rice, seaweed, eggs and traditional Japanese vegetables to put together tribute-lunches such as Wall-E's above.

Check out the gallery below for more bento boxed lunches celebrating video game and anime classics such as Bioshock, Katamari Damacy, Pokemon and more.

damn these are works of art. it would be a shame to eat the but they are food, and, obviously, they get seen by more people in picture for.

These are fake. While they are surely possible, and creative, these images are photoshopped.
