'Moto-Terminators' to patrol post-apocalyptic race tracks in Terminator Salvation
We already know that there are new killing machines on the way from Terminator Salvation's trailers, and it looks like one has just surfaced: the Moto-Terminator. Red eyes? Check. Guns? Check — and they're mini-guns at that. Fan-boyish excitement? Nope.
Seeing a motorcycle-turned-terminator almost immediately inspires a "they're ruining it!" reaction in me, but let's wait and see. Take your bets now, though — who thinks Christian Bale will end up riding one of these things during an action sequence?

They looked really cool in the Behind the Scenes feature leaked onto the net last week.
I think Terminator Salvation is going to be awesome.

Why do they have wheels? The terminators use al kinds of hovering/flying machines, so why wheels?
I doubt it will do them any good in the rubble-filled warzones.

I don't know about this either, does Skynet have terminator road crews? It would be hard to beat the HK's.

They use wheels because wheels are efficient. HK's are only efficient because they are so small, being small they cant' have a long range nor carry a lot of ordnance. These, on the other hand, are built for speed. There are probably a few missiles tucked away too, like there have been on all combat motorcycles since Delta Force....

The movie was actually good. And yes, I'll spoil it, one of them does get ridden. BUT! the motorcycles were so sick in this movie! Why use a car or giant robot when you can use a fast motorcycle to chase morons down? I believe they used Monsters for them but wtf's with the tires?
