If you're a contact lens wearer, you're well aware that you're supposed to toss your contacts every two weeks or a month, depending on what type of contacts you have. If you wait too long, gross bacteria grows on your lenses, and you definitely don't want those anywhere near your eyes. The problem? You're forgetful! How are you to remember when you last changed your lenses?
Well, these LED contact lens cases allow you to set a countdown when you change your lenses. It'll let you know exactly how long until you should change them, ensuring your eyes stay nice and healthy. Because really, no one wants to be that blind guy who's only blind because they're supremely lazy and forgetful. That's just embarrassing.

Personally I find either putting a reminder in my mobile (cell) phone, or writing when to change them on the calendar I have on the wall to be equally effective reminders.

I think it's a great way to help people remember! It's right @ the source; they'll be seeing it every day, helping them to keep it in the back of their mind, etc. Good idea!

Serious problem with this device. Doctors are demanding that contact lens cases be replaced monthly because they are hotbeds for fungus causing infections. This is a big issue that is the talk of the town at doctor conventions and trade journals.
This product is too expensive to throw away every 30 days!
I recommend the LensAlert Timer. You can use your own case and it tracks both contact lens replacement and contact case replacement. I have one and it is fantastic.
Save your eye health and replace your lenses and case on schedule. You only have one pair of eyes!

I bought one and the battery only lasted a few months and went dead. You can't replace the battery. Too expensive and not environementally friendly.
