Well, no, men would get a normal vacuum sealing unit with bags, and use the things for what they were originally made for. Sealing your meat. You catch a half dozen decent catfish, or shoot even a damn tiny doe, and you're not eating it all that night :D If you hunt and fish regularly and have a vacuum sealer you can have a variety of meat all year long for free. The only time you need to hit up the grocery store (and contribute to all of the pollution associated w/ that whole system) is for your greens an vegetables. It's one of those "low impact" lifestyles you people who are so fond of saying they're green like to talk about. And of course hunters' fees and contributions contribute more to wildlife conservation than all of the hypocritical environmentalists put together. Or you could use it for half eaten sandwitches.

I think it's a really good idea! A lot of times you have some left overs that you just cannot bear to eat the following day, so being able to keep it fresh until the next week or two is a great idea!
