Remember how the touch of a caring hand to your forehead made you feel a little better? The Lunar Baby Thermometer is a concept by designer Duck Young Kong, aiming to combine that healing touch and its crude temperature reading into a more accurate package.

After a brief touch to the forehead, the thermometer beeps and flashes when it's ready. Looks like a great way to avoid any obtrusive thermometer insertion here or there, while keeping that human contact that can be comforting to a sick little one.
