For television junkies, a breakthrough has holographic TVs seemingly closer than ever before, and YouTube addicts can now watch their favorite videos in simulated HD. If you've got your eyes on the stars, NASA is looking to put a giant liquid telescope on the moon, or if you enjoy giant things on earth, instead, check out this 33-story-high billboard in Dubai.
Still, while the future is looking as bright as ever, the present is still a bit scrunched up. Peter Pachal investigates why the tech industry just can't seem to nail down proper aspect ratios.

It definitely has been an interesting tech week (giant billboards, etc) and a good distraction from all the chaos ensuing the economy! Hope this weeks stuff is even more interesting!
