Despite the vote of no confidence displayed yesterday by Apple's new Blu-ray-less laptops, the format continues to gain steam. Sharp has just unveiled the AQUOS DX Series billed as the world's first LCD television with built-in Blu-ray disc recorders.
The televisions range in size from 26 to 52 inches and also have the ability to play standard DVDs. Scheduled to hit Japanese stores November 20th, the new all-in-one televisions won't come cheap with the smallest model priced at a whopping 170,000 yen ($1,676), more details here.
