    Sanyo releases ALBO, the sci-fi view screen from future past

    albo423.jpgAdding to our dreams of having a home full of retro-sci-fi view screens, Sanyo has introduced a sleek new viewer called the ALBO. The 7-inch LCD frame is primarily designed to display photos, but it also boasts the ability to display RSS feeds via WiFi, and receive photos from your cell phone via infrared port. Equipped with 256megabytes of memory the ALBO can also be programmed to display photos in slideshow format or with various special effects. The device is set to hit Japanese stores on November 14 for just 40,000 yen ($422) here.
