Bearing a funny Japanese name and a UK origin the Minoru is designed to deliver the Internet experience in 3D. The webcam, cleverly molded to look like a cutesy alien robot, uses two lenses to form one image that appears three-dimensional when the view dons a set of 3D glasses. Usable with chat services such as Skype, AIM, and Windows Live Messenger, the manufacturers also claim the device can take 3D photos and output 3D video uploadable to services like YouTube. The E.T. look-a-like is scheduled to go on sale in December for $100 here.

I want every person I know to get one, this way I will be able to see them in 3D.
I personally won't be getting one, since if I want to see myself in 3D I can just look in the mirror.
