See how nicely multitouch works with an election map, demonstrated by the goofy Fred Armisen on last night's Thursday edition of Saturday Night Live. While you'd never see the touchscreen interface used quite like this on a newscast, the comedy routine serves as a revealing demo of the tech.
As a side note, we simply must send out props and respect to Hulu, the video site created by our parent NBC Universal and Fox, which let us precisely edit this clip to show only the map portion of the "Weekend Update" segment. Now this is how web streaming should be done.

A comedy clip or not, the ability to have that versatility with that screen is simply incredible. I'm very excited to see this technology integrated into modern every day life!

Yeah, but it probably should be also done internationally

This is nothing more than viral marketing for Microsoft's multi-touch technology... Why else are they allowing you to "PRECISELY EDIT this clip to show ONLY THE MAP PORTION of the "Weekend Update" segment".
