

Among the myriad concept phones shown off recently by AU KDDI at CEATEC, one particularly beautiful model was the Voyager. Displayed on a moon-like surface at the event in homage to real life astronauts, the phone unfolds from the back to reveal an array of solar panels designed to trap solar energy and power the phone. Needless to say, if your friend caught you extending this contraption at lunch they might wonder what alien race you were broadcasting to, but when this does hit the market it should make green activists very happy.
