With Halloween coming up two weeks from today, I thought you might want a little bit of inspiration if you haven't yet settled on the perfect costume. This is a homemade spacesuit, made by a Flickr user for a short film he made. But you don't need to be a filmmaker to make a high-quality, impressive costume for the purpose of acquiring free candy this year.
Just look at how nice that looks! From the domed helmet to the oxygen pack on the back, it looks straight off of a spaceship. You've got two weeks: get building.

Haha, that is a really neat costume. I wonder how much $$ he spent on it.

Coooool!! I have not seen one of these since the early 1970s. This is made from a toy space helmet with some modifications. There were other accessories such as air filled squishy "moon boots" that went over your shoes. The box on the lower right and the two boxes and four tubes on the rear are add-ons. The bubble is taller and darker. The original was bright clear yellow and the body was originally white. Neat, Neat, Neat!
