Hack your Wii to play free retro games and watch movies on it

wiihomebrew4.jpgIf you have a Wii, you know it's fun. But you probably aren't using it to its fullest potential. In order to do that, you need to hack it. Scary, I know! But it's not that tough a process, and once you do it, you'll be able to play games you downloaded for free of the internet as well as use it as a video player for downloaded videos. It's awesome!

And now Gizmodo has gone and cut through the confusion, offering up a clear guide to hacking your Wii. All it requires is an SD card, a copy of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and a Wii. What could be easier? So get on over there, follow the directions, and open up a whole world of Wii possibilities that you never knew existed.
