Duct tape bandages are the badass way to heal your cuts

ducttapebandaids.jpegEven tough guys get nicks and cuts sometimes, and those nicks and cuts need to be bandaged up, no matter how rugged and manly you are. That doesn't mean, however, that you need to mar your body with some sissy band-aid. No, sir. You need a bandage that's as tough and masculine as you are. Like one made of duct tape.

Everyone knows that duct tape is the manliest of adhesives, so it only makes sense that it's unique strength and shine should come to some bandages. Simply slap it on over your wound and keep workin'. It'll either look like you accidentally left a strip of duct tape on your skin or that you're so badass that you simply used straight duct tape to seal a wound. In actuality, it hides a healthy, safe bandage. Everybody wins, tough guy.

We used to cut a small square out from the bottom edge of a t-shirt then duct tape it over the wound.

I thought that the badass way to heal your cuts was either with whiskey or with a cauterizing iron. Both works well too!

Lol. It's funny to see a liberal's idea of "badass." Normal, plain duct tape makes a hell of a bandage. And most people have duct tape around them more often than they do band-aids. The main thing that a bandaid does is hold the wound shut so that it heals easier and hold the blood in. Duct tape does all that and you won't die just because a little cut isn't properly aerated :D

And TR. Whiskey won't do to much for a cut :D Clean it up a bit, but not heal. And if you cauterize anything short of a bullet wound or knife slash then you're stupid, not badass. Staples are a pretty badass alternative that many people don't really think of. Your home staple gun isn't too differen't from what the doctors are going to be punching into you, except for sanitation. And I'd imagine everyone's had a jackass staple them before; your arm didn't fall off, did it?

Staples duct tape and tampons are like the trifecta of home medical work :D

What happened to 3M 33+ electrical tape? As an electrician I have that around more than bandaids.
And the bandaids I usually have won't stick so the electrical tape comes into play just to keep the bandaid on.
