Soon after we finished gushing about Samsung's gorgeous new Mac Air-beating laptop, Sony comes along with one that's even more impressive. While the just-announced Sony TT laptop isn't as slim as that Samsung number, the 2.87 pounder is sure packing the goods. Billed as the world's lightest Blu-ray notebook, it's bristling with a pair of solid-state hard drives lashed together in a fast and big 256GB RAID-0 configuration, an LED-backlit 11.1-inch screen at 1366×768 configured in an HD-friendly 16:9 aspect ratio, and an HDMI output to your HDTV.
After you get over those monster specs, just look at it! It's offered in a trio of delectable hues (see the gallery below for colorful close-ups), and its carbon fiber chassis is hidden by chrome accents in just the right places. But this is a far cry from an Audi TT; heck, they could slap a Ferrari logo on this baby and it wouldn't seem out of place. But along with that luxo-sportiness comes a Ferrari-like tariff — pricing starts at $2000, but fully decked out, expect to pay beyond $3K for the privilege of owning one.
