Juicing up your devices is child's play with an iYo

iYoiphone.jpg

There's no shortage of gadgets for giving your devices a much needed energy boost when the batteries run low, but most of them really aren't much fun. The iYo from Swedish designer Peter Thuvander turns charging up your devices into child's play, using a small induction generator to charge a battery inside the iYo. Then once you've played enough to give the battery a good charge, you connect your iPhone or whatever to the iYo's USB port and the power is transferred into the device.

Currently the iYo is just a concept, but I think it would be cool if a manufacturer picked this one up.

It seems to have a same concept as the "Yo-Yo Pullight Dynamo", which you can find it at my Screen Name link above.

Both of them is a power generator concept by playing the yo-yo. But IMHO, Pullight is great for everybody while iYo designed for Apple's fan only. Well, just my guessing! :)
