Asus AiGuru SV1, world's first Skype-approved videophone

If you've ever watched someone have a video chat on his PC and thought, "I'll never figure out how to do that," Asus has something you should see. The AiGuru videophone makes video calls super-simple by getting rid of the PC altogether, letting you make VoIP calls right on the device, seeing your callee on the 7-inch LCD (the VGA cam above the screen sends your smiling face the other way). Connecting to your network should be easy, too, since this thing has Wi-Fi built-in, and there's even a battery to make it totally wireless — and portable, in case you like to move while you talk.

It's also the first videophone to get the official thumbs-up from Luxembourg-based VoIP provider Skype, so using this thing should be about as cheap and easy as you can get. It's coming in October for $300. We'll take two.
