What would Frodo use to call Middle Earth? The Maple Phone
Let’s face it, some people will never convert to the iPhone. Such individuals are likely Steve Jobs haters, environmental purists, or both, which would make the Maple Phone a perfect choice. Designed by the Korean team of Hyun Jin Yoon and Eun Hak Lee, the concept cell phone is meant to offer a glimpse of high technology that seamlessly merges nature and gadgetry into one sleek device. The phone would include touch sensitive keypads, a camera phone, and enough back-to-nature cool points that even your vegan, off-the-grid, tree house living friends would be envious.

I don't hate Steve Jobs. I do, however, hate AT&T. The are the absolute worst cell phone company I have ever had to deal with, and I simply will not give them any more of my business. I bought the ipod touch, and would love to get an iphone, but not if it means giving AT&T a penny.

I'm the opposite. I don't hate AT&T. I do, however hate Steve Jobs & Apple. They are the absolute worst computer company I have ever had to deal with, and I simply will not give them any more business. I bought a Blackberry, and would love to get an iphone but not if it means giving Apple a penny.

you do not have to stay with at&t to have an iPhone, unlock it and go to t-mobile, or look up the G1 from t-mobile
