Loopwind Wind-Powered Car teaches kids about going green

windpowered_car2.jpg

We’ve got to teach the kiddies about alternative sources of energy if we want them to clean up the mess we've made of this planet. We're off to a good start with the H-Racer, which did a great job of showing them how hydrogen can power a toy car. Now here’s a similar example of wind power charging a toy car’s batteries.

Charge up the Tamiya Wind-powered toy car on its loop-wing turbine for 10 minutes, and it’ll run for a minute or two. You won’t save enough money on batteries to pay back its $67 price, but it’s a good demo that’ll be memorable for the next generation of energy scientists.

BOO! BOOO! HOW MUCH MORE FILTH CAN YOU WRITE?

First off, most toy cars have ran on alternative forms of energy. It goes even beyond battery powered. Remember the car that you pulled backward and then lifted up to pull backward again 3 or 4 times to eventually release and see it go flying?

Second, What MESS are you flapping the keys of your keyboard about? I bet it's global warming. If that's the case, check you facts - It snowed in May out here in Seattle. We are currently experiencing one of the coldest Summers ever recorded. Shouldn't tech people be smart?

The only mess that is actually real is the mess that these STUPID "go green" hippies created. "Don't drill here. Don't drill there. Don't drill anywhere" Well gee no wonder we are running out of places that produce oil and gasoline prices are out of control.

What happened to people with common sense?

if you looked at the facts you'd realize global warming actual is DRAMATIC weather change not just hot summers and winters
what mess?
walk on the side of the road and see all the garbaged. what if i threw dirt in your dinner? well animals dont probaly like garbage in there grass [witch is there dinner in most cases] how is the "go green" campan a mess? because im sure if you were surronded in garbage youd like some one to help you out there just people looking at the big picture
