Here is a computer stuffed inside a toaster

toasterpc_1.jpgHey guys, here's a computer that's inside of a toaster. Why? You got me, but I'm pretty sure your computer isn't inside a vintage-looking 4-slice toaster, is it?

The toaster/computer no longer has the ability to turn regular slices of bread into sweet, hot toast, but it does have a 3600 MHz processor, 2.5 inch hard drive, DVD-rom drive, and an entire router inside. Whether or not that's an improvement is really up to you to decide. Want a toaster computer? Well, unfortunately, they aren't for sale; this is a custom job. But if you've got some modding chops it shouldn't be too tough to build one for yourself.

I think that the toaster-pc is the sixth sign of the apocalypse.

i dont care if it practical, its awesome by concept. although, concededly, yes it would rock more if it could make toast. but then that would make it one crummy computer.

Remember Flying Toasters screen saver?

That is kinda surreal when you realize just how often people claim their burnt out computer hardware got toasted or fried. Hey Wilfred Drew, I remember the flying toasters screen saver, that was After Dark, I also remember NewTek's Video Toaster plug-in card and software for computers too. Man, all this toast talk is making me hungry.
