Steampunk mouse doesn't look all that comfortable
Sometimes, as neat as steampunk objects can be, I think they're better left in photographs than used in real life. After all, modding electronics to look like they came from some alternate Victorian history is all about aesthetics, not function.
Take this steampunk mouse, for instance. Is it cool looking? Yes, yes it is. Does it look comfortable to use? Not in the slightest. It's big, probably weighs close to 10 pounds, and is covered with so many trinkets that it would leave permanent marks on your hand if you actually tried to use it on a day to day level. But hey, if you really want your to computer look like it belongs on an airship, you care not for things like comfort.
