It's no surprise that NuVa is a Japanese company, because its pneumatic elevator is one of the most stylish and compact ones we've ever seen. It offers its occupant 360° of vision on the journey up and down, and, thanks to its simple tube-like design, it could fit in a variety of locales, from homes to offices. It only fits one at a time, though, so it wouldn't do so well in a place with many bodies to move. Sadly, we don't know much more than how awesome this thing looks.
Check out the gallery below for more images of the NuVa pneumatic elevator, and a video of the elevator in action by clicking here.

This is NOT a new concept. These guys, http://www.daytonaelevator.com/ have been making these things for years. Why is this news?
