Neither of these are new products, I bought my first ultrasonic measuring device almost 10 years ago.

I already own a Raytek Mini Temp heat sensor gun, that I can use to check anything from hot spots in computer circuitry or truck engines to a fever in a human joint. I'm not sure what the distance measurements would be needed for though, unless I forgot my tape measure.
