Green office buildings are all the rage these days, with big companies finding them the perfect way to create a physical presence for their brand while also coming across as environmentally friendly. In addition, they allow for architects to create buildings that are more visually distinctive than ever before.
The latest such building will be One Westminster Place along the Thames River in Southbank, London. The beautiful glass façade will reflect sunlight in a rainbow of colors, making the building look great from the outside while keeping the inside efficient. The layered glass creates a buffer between the building's exterior and the outside. The air between glass layers is collected for energy, saving costs. Not a bad idea, and not a bad looking one either.
