Glowing VHS tape USB hub combines the past with the present
Remember the trusty old VHS tape? You know, the thing we used to watch movies on. It's functional in a 21st century kind of way, giving your computer an extra set of USB hubs. But it's built out of a VHS tape, so you can fondly remember taping movies off HBO for your personal collection. The article is written as if no one uses VHS tapes. I watch them almost everyday. I hoped that DVD's would be a short fad, similar to the large video discs that were popular, 1984-'85. I use VHS tapes to record shows and I have a dual-deck VCR. A few days, each week, I watch a tape and record, onto another tape, at the same time. I live near Chicago, and many Walgreens, in this area, sell many brands of blank VHS tapes. They probably do that because many other people use them. Since I have a VCR and almost all of my favorite movies, on VHS, I have no reason to buy DVD's.
