Childlike Heart Robot is no substitute for a real kid

heart-robot.jpgIf you'd like a child without all the responsibility that having a child comes along with, the Childlike Heart Robot was designed with you in mind. This creepy little robot is capable of displaying "emotions," just like a real kid. Unlike a real kid, it won't die if you toss it in the back of a closet for a few weeks.

It has a "heart" that beats, and it responds to movement, noise, and touch. He relaxes when you cuddle him, but he gets upset when you yell at him, tensing up and speeding up his heartbeat. Those appear to be all the emotions it feels, which aren't much, but I suppose are more than you usually see in a robot.
