Chanel Mobile Museum brings art to your city via alien spacecraft

zahacraftmain1.jpgZaha Hadid has a reputation from some far out designs, but her latest work for Chanel pushes the envelope into outer space. The Chanel Contemporary Art Container was designed to move from city to city displaying various works of art, appropriately, the component structure looks exactly like an alien spacecraft. Featuring exhibits by the likes of Yoko Ono (displaying an interactive Wish Tree), Michael Li, Loris Cecchini, and photographers Stephen Shore and Nobuyoshi Araki, the museum debuted in Hong Kong, immediately sold out in Tokyo (it's still running until Friday, July 4th) and is scheduled to hit New York in October, London and Moscow in 2009 and Paris in 2010. You can enter the museum's seriously trippy multimedia website here.
