Three-person ping pong table is more inclusive

triples2_amsin_1333.jpgWhat do you do if you're hanging out with two friends and all three of you want to play ping pong? In most situations, you take turns playing while the third person looks on, bored. That's not the optimal solution, obviously.

If you had the Modular Table Tennis System, you could all play at the same time. And it would be crazy. Just look at this table? I feel bad for the guy stuck with the middle section, who's essentially stuck taking on two people at the same time. I suppose you could have a volley between the people on the far ends, but it would be difficult and unrewarding compared to just piling on the poor sucker in the middle. So I guess this isn't really an optimal alternative to a regular table, but I guess it's nice to have options, right?

I don't know... you could have the middle person be 'king' like in 4 square, so the middle person would have to hold on to his prize. You could even incorporate the same type of rules where the king could declare one extra rule a round. sounds fun to me.
