Many of us here at DVICE live in cramped New York City apartments, where having your own personal washing machine is a luxury that just won't fit in the space available. Therefore, we're always looking for cool ways to do more in less space. Hauling your dirty clothes down to the building laundry room gets old pretty fast, so this combo that replaces the bathroom basin looks especially appealing.
Created by Romanian designer Andrei Bojor, the SpaceSaver was designed with the tiny apartments of the former Soviet Bloc in mind, but I think he might find another ready market right here in NYC. Right now the SpaceSaver remains a design concept, but I think this one has real potential.
