Romantics in the crowd will appreciate the Philips AquaLight — a floating variant of its Imageo LED candle. The LED inside the tiny bulb flickers to give that candle ambience without the dangerous open flame and drippy wax. Checking them out yesterday, I thought that the flickering had a noticeable pattern to it, but only if you looked really closely.

A nice touch is that the candle turns on and off by simply flipping it up and down. Of course, you'll have to remember to plug them in after your bath, and a 10-hour charge will get you 20 hours of illumination. The AquaLight goes on sale in the fall for $50 for a set of three. Rose petals not included.
